Black caraway - Nigella Seeds - Kalonji

Black caraway, Black seeds, Nigella Seeds or is also known as “Kalonji” in subcontinent region. In some regions it is also known as Black Cumin. It is semi soft, aromatic and jet black in color. They have slightly pungent and bitter taste. It tastes like the combination of oregano and black pepper. Nevertheless, it is used as spice in India, Pakistan and Middle Eastern cuisine.
